Karachi: According to a report, the University of Karachi administration has issued a notification outlining dress code guidelines for students.
The notification emphasizes that students must wear clean and modest attire while attending the university. It advises against wearing provocative, offensive, or attention-seeking clothing.
Furthermore, the notification explicitly discourages wearing revealing outfits, tight clothing, or garments with short sleeves. Students have also been instructed to avoid attire with objectionable prints or graphics.
The administration has also prohibited students from wearing casual slippers or flip-flops on campus, encouraging a more formal and appropriate appearance instead.
According to administration, the guidelines aim to maintain a respectful and disciplined environment within the university premises.
